Woman swings didgeridoo at intruders during violent Mandurah home robbery

A woman was left to defend herself with a didgeridoo after three men broke into her home during a violent robbery on Friday.

Mandurah Detectives say three men entered the woman’s unit on Ormsby Terrace and demanded property about 5:10pm.

The woman, in her 40s, asked the men to leave before she attempted to run and escape the three men.

Police said one of the men physically restrained her and, during a short struggle, struck her on the face.

A second man ripped gold chains from the woman’s neck before he searched through her belongings.

The woman managed to break free, pick up a Didgeridoo and swing it at the men before they fled the scene.

They ran out of the unit and was seen getting into a white sedan, similar to a Holden Cruze.

Detectives would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the incident or may have captured the men leaving the unit in the white sedan on dash-cam.
