Two people have been arrested after a woman suffered severe injuries from a hit-and-run incident in Falcon on Tuesday.
The arrest comes an hour after investigators appealed for information on the whereabouts of a 41-year-old man, frequent to the Falcon and Kiara areas, that detectives believed could assist with their investigation.
Detectives said a man and woman were taken into custody on Friday afternoon.
A woman was allegedly hit by a silver car at the intersection of Lynda and Rakoa Streets about 12:45am.
She was found on the side of the road with serious leg injuries.
The RAC Rescue helicopter was forced to land on Falcon oval to transport the woman to Royal Perth Hospital.
Major Crash investigators spent most of Tuesday investigating the circumstances surrounding the woman’s injuries.
On Wednesday, police impounded a silver sedan, believed to have been involved in the incident, from a Cobblers Road property in Falcon.
Detectives said a man and woman have now been taken into custody and are assisting with their inquiries.
