Woman airlifted after Dwellingup motorcycle crash

A woman has suffered severe injuries after a motorcycle crash in Dwellingup on Wednesday.

Emergency services were called to reports of a motorcycle crash at the intersection of Pinjarra Williams Road and Oro Road, six kilometres west of the Dwellingup town centre, about 4:15pm.

It’s understood the motorcycle was headed west, towards Mandurah, when it crashed into another vehicle at the intersection of Oro Road.

The Department of Fire and Emergency Services said the motorcycle collided with “a stationary vehicle.”

The RAC Rescue helicopter was deployed to the scene.

Skeer Media understands the woman suffered an arterial bleed.

She was flown to Royal Perth hospital with what police described as “serious non-life threatening injuries.”

Pinjarra Williams Road was closed for several hours.
