Detectives have arrested a Golden Bay man in relation to an armed robbery that occurred at a Singleton fuel station on Sunday.
Its alleged about 1.10am, the man with his face covered and carrying a tomahawk entered the Coles Express on Mandurah Road and threatened staff.
It’s further alleged he smashed a glass door that led to the staff area and stole a quantity of cash and tobacco.
The 24-year-old has been charged with Armed Robbery.
He is due to face the Perth Magistrates Court today.

A source told Skeer Media the man was apologetic to staff when the incident took place.
Coles refused to comment when asked what support had been offered to employees.
