Update: Man flown to hospital after motorbike crash in Waroona

The RAC Rescue helicopter has flown a man hospital after motorbike incident in Waroona on Sunday.

It’s understood the motorbike rider crashed at the intersection of Scarp and Inverall Roads near Lake Navarino about 3:55pm.

St John Ambulance and police rushed to the scene to assist the injured man.

The RAC Rescue helicopter landed nearby to transport him to Royal Perth Hospital.

The extent of his injuries are unknown.

It was one of two crashes across the region on Sunday afternoon.

The state’s second rescue helicopter was sent to a quad bike incident in Bouvard about the same time.
