Mandurah Detectives have charged two women after tools and two 4WD’s were stolen from Murray Engineering in Pinjarra in the early hours of December 1 and 2.
Investigators alleged the pair gained entry into shipping containers that were situated inside the Munday Avenue property and stole a large number of items, including rolls of electrical wiring, two Toyota Lancruiders valued at $70,000 each and a trailer.
It’s alleged the two placed the rolls onto a trailer before attaching it to a brand new Landcruiser utility and then driving away with the equipment and the other Landcruiser.
Officers recovered one of the stolen Landcruisers on December 2.
The second stolen Landcruiser was spotted by police leaving an address in Greenfields.
Mandurah Detectives conducted a search warrant at the Greenfields property, where they allegedly located other items stolen during the burglary.
A 37-year-old woman is due to face the Perth Magistrates Court today, charged with:
• Four counts of Steal Motor Vehicle;
• Two counts of Stealing;
• Two counts of Attempted Stealing; and
• One count of Aggravated Burglary and Commit.
A 35-year-old woman is due to appear before the Mandurah Magistrates Court on December 27, chared with:
• Steal Motor Vehicle; and
• No Authority to Drive.
