Mandurah’s Food Truck Frenzy is set to hit town two nights a month with their new summer series kicking off on Tuesday.
As of September, the Mandurah Food Truck Frenzy will fall on the second and last Tuesday of every month from 5pm till 9pm at Hall Park.
The idea was brought to life by Lamm Events, Nom Nom Cupcakes and Tanyas Tucker
The team said they started the Food Truck Frenzy to bring something new and exciting that will generate a fun family atmosphere.
Event organiser Michelle Jones said they noticed there was nothing around Mandurah where families could go and hang out while enjoying great food and entertainment.
“We started [The Food Truck Frenzy] as we noticed Mandurah was lacking [something] like this, Miss Jones said.
“Families and people of all ages can come down and enjoy a night of great food and local entertainment.
Miss Jones said had been a local Mandurah resident for more than ten years before she suffered a significant health set back.
“I set up Lamm Events back in 2012, when helping a local charity with events,” she said.
“I took a break from events while I underwent cancer treatment.
“[I] teamed up with Ben from Nom Nom Cupcakes and Tanya from Tanyas Tucker.
“We started the Boardwalk Sunset markets, but with the renovations, we needed a new vision and Mandurah Food Truck Frenzy at Hall Park was Born.
Miss Jones told Skeer Media the team had big ideas for the Food Truck Frenzy.
“[We would like] for it to grow into hawkers market with boutique stalls, [have] special themed nights and eventually add a bar,” she said.
“We would love to see more support from the community for locally run events.
“The Mandurah council has been great [at] supporting us and getting behind our vision for this event.”
