A Mandurah man is back in court after an alleged pursuit that ended in Dudley Park on Tuesday night.
It’s understood Andrew Jade Bennell was allegedly on bail after appearing in court on April 24, over other matters, when the alleged pursuit took place.
Mr Bennell was on local police’s radar after he allegedly stole a vehicle in Greenfields about 2:15pm on April 27.
Detectives said officers spotted Mr Bennell on Tuesday, a day later, and allegedly engaged in a pursuit which ended in Dudley Park about 9:40pm.
Mr Bennell was arrested at a property several metres from where a silver sedan was located on Crafton Drive.
It’s alleged investigators discovered a key in the sedan which opened the door of another vehicle located behind the Singleton fuel station on Singleton Beach Road.
Mr Bennell is facing several charges including Reckless Driving to Escape Police, No Authority to Drive Suspended and two counts of Stealing a Motor Vehicle on separate occasions.
Mr Bennell didn’t enter a plea when he appeared in the Perth Magistrates Court today.
He was remanded in custody and will reappear in court in June.
