Police have located the body of a woman who drowned near Mandurah on Friday.
about 10:15pm, It’s understood the 53-year-old woman was crabbing with her husband at Herron Point in Collins Pool near Bouvard when she drowned, her husband tried desperately to find her.
Water police with the assistance of the Police Air Wing worked through the night to try and locate the woman.
About 9am, on Saturday, her body was located in the water two kilometres north of Herron Point.

It’s believed a change of tied may have caused the woman to lose her footing and drown.
A reported will be prepared for the coroner.
