Update: Halls Head death deemed non-suspicious


Police have deemed the death of a person in Halls Head on Saturday as not suspicious.

Detectives and police swarmed a property on Muir Place about 8:30am after the sudden death was reported.

Muir Place was closed for several hours as investigators including forensic police combed the scene.

The street has since reopened.


Police have swarmed a Halls Head property after a body was discovered on Friday.

Its understood officers and detectives flooded Muir place near McLarty road about 8:30am.

A WA Police spokesperson confirmed officers were investigating the circumstances surrounding a deceased person at a property on the street.

The spokesperson said it was yet to be determined if the death is suspicious or not.

Several neighbours told Skeer Media they heard screaming from the area around midnight on Thursday.

One witness said he saw two women and a man be taken away by a police vehicle about 9am.

Muir Place was cordoned off for several hours as forensic police and detectives spent well into the afternoon combing the scene for evidence.
