Skeer Media isn’t just an online news provider, the company is also a freelance news service, which supplies vision, information, photos and exclusive stories to local, state and national news outlets.
The company freelances for some of the biggest news media networks in Australia which include all platforms such as television, radio and print.
Some of Skeer Media’s biggest clients include the Ten Network, Nine Entertainment co., and Seven West Media.
Our work has featured in and on a numerous amount of news outlets such as The Project, Seven News, Nine News, Ten News, Community News Paper Group, Coast Live Radio, Mandurah Mail, WA Today, GWN 7 Regional News and many more.
The company was founded by freelance video journalist and award-winning news photographer Texas Reeks in April 2018, at age 18.
Tex has held great passion for news and television since before he can remember.
He came across his first live news cross when he was 10-years-old and his first video made Seven News Perth when he was just 12-years of age.
While completing work experience in multiple news rooms, including Nine News Perth, Mandurah Mail and worked with the Sunrise team at the Seven Network in Sydney, Tex picked up numerous news writing and television production skills.
Taking out a national photography award in Sydney on behalf of the Mandurah Mail, while completing work experience, Tex was the youngest winner in the Community News Category for his entry ‘Under The Spotlight’ at the 2018 News Media Works Awards.
