One injured, police helicopter called in after Port Kennedy dirt bike crash

A man has been injured after an unregistered off-road motorcycle crashed in Port Kennedy on Friday.

The crash happened at the roundabout of Grand Ocean Boulevard and St Raphael Crescent about 6:10pm.

WA Police confirmed the crash had occurred and that male was injured after he came off a bike.

Bystanders told Skeer Media they believed the rider was knocked off the motorcycle by another vehicle but this information is yet to be confirmed.

The Police Air Wing was circling the area considered to be looking for someone involved with the crash.

The rider was taken to hospital by St John Ambulance with non-life-threatening head injuries.
