Man airlifted after Pinjarra construction site incident

The RAC Rescue helicopter flew a man to hospital after a serious construction site incident in Pinjarra on Monday.

St John Ambulance and firefighters rush to a plumbers aid after he fell down a well at the work site on Munday Avenue near Yagan Street.

The man fell about 6 metres, off a ladder, down the well, he sustained serious injuries.

The trench the man fell into was narrow which made the rescue operation more delicate.

He was winched to safety by firefighters from the Perth Vertical Rescue Unit and flown to Royal Perth Hospital by the RAC Rescue helicopter.

The 26-year-old plumber was discharged from hospital on Tuesday.
