Driver injured in Pinjarra crash

The third crash on the same road within a week leaves driver with head injuries

A driver has been injured after a crash in Pinjarra on Wednesday, it’s the third crash on the same highway in the past week.

About 7:40pm, emergency services rushed to a single-car accident on South Western Highway near Fairbridge Road.

It’s understood a red hatchback left the road and crashed into a ditch causing significant damage to the car.

A man, in his 30s, was taken to Peel Health Campus with head injuries.

The crash is the third on South Western Highway in the past week.

A 26-year-old man was killed after the Kia Rio he was a passenger in, crossed crossed onto the incorrect side of the road, and crashed into a light pole in Waroona on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, a 72-year-old man received serious leg injuries after a Hyundai crashed into the motorcycle he was riding in Pinjarra on Monday.
