Tray ripped from ute during two-car Forrest Highway collision

A tray back has been ripped from a ute after a serious two-car collision in Waroona on Saturday night.

It’s unclear of how the crash occurred but it’s understood about 9:40pm, a white ute and a red Nissan collided on Forrest Highway, southbound, several metres before Old Bunbury Road.

The ute is believed to have rolled during the accident.

Police said there was minor injuries.

St John Ambulance treated a woman at the scene.

Mandurah Fire and Rescue attended the scene to help clear debris and make the area safe.

Traffic was backed up for several kilometres as emergency services closed the road for just under an hour.

Forrest Highway has since reopened and traffic is flowing as normal.
