A blaze has torn through a Karnet Prison Farm workshop in Keysbrook overnight.
About 10pm on Monday, fire and rescue crews from across Perth’s south-east were called to the low-security facility.
It’s understood the industrial workshop contained a significant amount of fuel and highly flammable material.
Authorities were forced to set up an exclusion zone in the immediate vicinity of the building.

The blaze caused over $10,000 damage.
A crew in a light tanker from Serpentine Bushfire Brigade were first at the scene and set up a control point for the incoming appliances.
Within an hour and a half the blaze was contained and several crews were released.
It’s understood no one was injured in the incident.
Police were on hand and will continue to work with firefighters to determine the cause of the blaze.
